Glasgow, UK, 19 June 2026 – Pelion's bold brand transformation has been recognised at the Marketing Society STAR Awards, where the Glasgow-based IoT MVNO secured Silver in the B2B category and Bronze for Brand Development alongside creative agency partner Guy & Co.
The awards celebrate the best in Scottish marketing, recognising organisations and campaigns that combine strategic thinking, creativity and measurable business impact.
Pelion was also shortlisted for the Chairman's Award for First Time Entry (Client), recognising the success of the company's rebrand and market repositioning.
Launched in April 2025, the rebrand marked a significant step in Pelion's journey, introducing a new visual identity and positioning centred on a simple promise: Global IoT Connectivity Made Effortless.
The Silver award in the B2B category recognised the effectiveness of Pelion's market positioning and communications strategy, while the Bronze award for Brand Development reflected the successful evolution of the company's brand and proposition.
Developed in partnership with Guy & Co, the rebrand moved away from traditional telecoms conventions to create a more modern, confident and accessible identity. Pelion Pink, basketball hoops and cats on clouds replaced the familiar visual conventions often associated with the IoT category, helping the company stand out in a crowded market.
The creative platform brought that proposition to life through distinctive imagery and storytelling, helping communicate complex technology in a way that is memorable, human and easy to understand. At the same time, the brand reinforces Pelion's core strengths across connectivity, reliability, security and expertise.
The company manages close to two million connected devices across sectors including energy, transport, healthcare, retail and payments, supporting critical services that millions of people rely on every day. From payment terminals and transport networks to energy infrastructure and connected assets, Pelion delivers secure and reliable IoT connectivity at scale.

Scott Ferguson, Head of Growth at Pelion, said:
"We didn't want to create another telecoms brand that looked and sounded like every other company in the industry.
"Pelion has spent more than two decades helping organisations solve complex connectivity challenges, but the way we communicated that hadn't kept pace with the business we'd become and the value we offer. The rebrand was about creating an identity that reflected a modern IoT MVNO and the confidence we have in our managed services proposition.
"Working with Guy & Co, we built a brand that is distinctive, memorable and true to who we are. Communicating complexity without jargon, using humour with confidence, clarity with evidence. The creative platform helps communicate a simple promise: IoT connectivity should feel extremely effortless for customers, regardless of the scale or complexity of their deployment.
"To see that work recognised with Silver in B2B and Bronze in Brand Development is hugely rewarding. It validates the work our team and partners have poured into this to give Pelion that brand it deserves."
The Marketing Society STAR Awards are among Scotland's most respected marketing accolades, recognising organisations that combine creativity with commercial effectiveness.
The awards mark another milestone in Pelion's evolution from one of the UK's earliest IoT-focused MVNOs into a global connectivity provider serving more than 1,000 enterprise customers across a wide range of industries.
