Let’s get started

There are three ways to provision your consumer eSIM profile on a device:

• Activation codes (CSV)

• QR codes

• MDM integration

First, you will need to activate your consumer eSIM profile in the Pelion Portal.

Follow the steps below to learn how:

Activating your consumer eSIM profile

Step 1 Navigate to Activate

To get started, click Activate in the left-hand navigation.

You’ll arrive at the Activation page where you can activate up to 2500 SIMs at once.

Step 2 SIM selection

There are three convenient ways for you to select SIMs for activation:

1. Upload CSV

Drag/drop or click to select your CSV SIM ICCIDs for activation.

2. Manual

Copy/paste your SIM ICCIDs straight into the manual input.

3. Recently added stock

One-click recently added stock in the right-hand pane to add SIMs into the manual input.

Step 3 Select Pelion plan

Select the Pelion plan you would like to activate your SIMs on.

Step 4 Finally, click Activate

Once activated, you’ll see a summary report of your SIMs along with their activation details.

This is where Pelion makes it super simple to get your devices up and running fast. Simply download the activation report containing your Consumer eSIM activation code (LPA URI) for each eSIM profile and and use it with your preferred MDM for seamless provisioning and control.

Connecting your consumer eSIM via QR code

If managing activation codes doesn’t suit your setup, no problem - we’ve got just the solution for you.

Follow on to see how you can easily view and scan QR codes straight from the portal to get your consumer eSIMs connected in no time.

Step 1 Navigate to SIMs

Click SIMs in the left-hand navigation.

You’ll arrive at your SIM list where you can view your consumer eSIMs alongside your entire SIM estate. Your most recently activated SIMs will appear at the top of the list.

Step 2 Select a consumer eSIM profile

Click on the consumer eSIM profile you’d like to download and activate on your device and navigate to the SIM record, where you can manage individual SIM details and settings.

Step 3 View QR Code

In the SIM details tab, look for the “Profile Activation” banner. Click Get started to view the QR code for your consumer eSIM profile.

Step 4 Scan QR code

Scan the QR code using your eSIM-compatible device and follow the on-screen configuration steps to complete the setup.

Step 5 Check your consumer eSIM is online

Your eSIM will show as Online once it starts sending or receiving data. You can check when your SIM last transferred data by looking at the Last Data Transfer column in the SIM list or in the network tab within the SIM record.

That’s it, you’re all set!
