We are pleased to announce that Pelion has appointed Lorna Barclay as new CFO from today, 02 April 2024.

Lorna is a seasoned professional with a distinguished career that embodies excellence in finance and strategy.

With an ACA and University of Glasgow alumna, Lorna brings to Pelion an exceptional track record from her tenure at Zilch Technology, where she was instrumental in managing a dynamic finance team and driving the company's financial strategies to new heights.

Her contributions spanned from overseeing FinOps, FP&A, to M&A activities, underscoring her pivotal role in scaling the company's operations and preparing it for the challenges of high growth in the fintech space.

Before Zilch, Lorna's expertise was central to the successful NYSE listing of Soho House, showcasing her adeptness in navigating the complexities of capital markets and her capability in enhancing stakeholder value through strategic financial planning. Her previous tenure at Deloitte further fortified her foundation, offering her a broad exposure to audit and assurance, and a deep dive into the intricacies of US and UK GAAP, which she adeptly applied across various sectors from hospitality to telecoms.
